Brown Sugar Raisin Granola is a delightful and wholesome treat that combines simple, high-quality ingredients to create a perfectly balanced and satisfying snack. This homemade granola features the rich sweetness of brown sugar, the crunch of almond slices, and the chewy goodness of raisins, making it an ideal choice for breakfast or a midday pick-me-up.

The base of this granola is made from rolled oats, which provide a hearty, chewy texture that forms the foundation of the mix. Oats are well-known for their nutritional benefits, including high fiber content, which makes them an excellent choice for a healthy start to the day. Sliced almonds add a satisfying crunch and a subtle nutty flavor that complements the oats perfectly. Almonds also bring a dose of healthy fats and protein, making this granola as nutritious as it is delicious.

The star of this granola is the brown sugar, which is generously used to infuse its signature sweetness. The brown sugar is mixed directly with the dry ingredients, ensuring that each piece of granola is infused with its deep, caramel-like flavor. This sweetness pairs wonderfully with the other ingredients, creating a rich, comforting taste that will satisfy your sweet tooth.

Melted coconut oil is used to bind the ingredients together and add a subtle richness. Coconut oil helps the granola achieve a delightful crispness and adds a light, pleasant flavor that enhances the overall taste. Including vanilla extract adds warmth and depth to the granola, making it even more irresistible.

Ground cinnamon is added to the mix, giving the granola a cozy, warming spice that elevates flavor. Mixed in from the beginning, the raisins offer a chewy contrast to the crunchy oats and almonds. Their natural sweetness complements the brown sugar, creating a perfect balance of flavors in every bite.

This Brown Sugar Raisin Granola is incredibly versatile. It’s delicious as a snack, but it also pairs beautifully with yogurt, milk, or as a topping for smoothie bowls. The combination of oats, almonds, raisins, rich brown sugar, and fragrant cinnamon make it a perfect addition to your breakfast routine or a sweet treat anytime during the day.
