I stumbled upon this recipe a while back on the internet. I don’t entirely remember where… I think it was TikTok. I don’t like to regurgitate recipes, unless it’s absolutely necessary. This was far to good and far too easy to make for me not to share. It’s the perfect afternoon snack. It will certainly impress a crowd, so pull it out at your next hosted event or potluck.

What is Brie cheese?

Freshly minced garlic, butter, and thyme top soft and creamy brie for an indulgent snack

Ingredients

  • 1 wheel brie cheese (8-12 ounces)

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 425°.
  • Whisk together the melted butter, minced garlic, and ground black pepper.
  • Slice several slits into the brie cheese. Pour the melted butter mixture over the cheese, allowing it to pour into the slits.
  • Bake for 10 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with thyme. Serve with slices of French bread or crackers.
