Few culinary experiences rival the sheer delight of biting into a well-crafted burger. Crafted with precision and grilled to perfection, these burgers redefine the art of burger-making. Bite into pure bliss with each mouthwatering, tender, and flavorful patty, and embark on a gastronomic journey that celebrates the essence of premium ribeye steak.

The journey begins with the star of the show – premium ribeye steak. Renowned for its rich marbling and exceptional tenderness, ribeye is the choice cut for those who truly appreciate the art of burger making. To ensure that every bite bursts with flavor and maintains its juicy perfection, we take boneless ribeye steaks and carefully cut them into small, tantalizing cubes. With precision, we grind these cubes into coarsely ground beef. The secret lies in not over-processing the meat, preserving the satisfying texture that elevates these burgers.

No exceptional burger is complete without an extraordinary sauce. Our homemade burger sauce is a symphony of flavors, a harmonious blend that elevates the Half Pound Ribeye Steak Burgers to a new realm of deliciousness. In a small bowl, we whisk together creamy mayonnaise, whole grain mustard, minced garlic, finely chopped shallot, Worcestershire sauce, and a touch of honey for a delightful sweetness. Seasoned with a pinch of salt and ground black pepper, this sauce is a condiment of sheer delight, ready to complement the burger perfectly. Refrigerated until it’s time to shine, this sauce awaits its starring role.

The heart of our creation lies in crafting these burger patties. In a generous mixing bowl, we bring together the coarsely ground ribeye steak, minced onion, egg, salt, ground black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. With a gentle touch, we meld these ingredients, ensuring the meat is infused with aromatic flavors without being overworked. Each patty is thoughtfully shaped into a thick, juicy, and perfectly portioned masterpiece, ready to sizzle on the grill.

We fire up the grill to high heat, a scorching 500°F that sets the stage for grilling perfection. Placing our burger patties on the sizzling grates, we let them cook briefly – just 3-4 minutes per side – for that ideal medium-rare doneness. Naturally, you’re welcome to adjust the cooking time to cater to your personal taste. The magic moment arrives during the last minute of grilling when we crown each patty with a slice of cheddar cheese. As the grill lid descends, the cheese melts to an irresistible ooey-gooey consistency, enhancing the ribeye’s rich flavors.

While the burgers work their magic on the grill, we turn our attention to the buns. Split open and placed on the grill, they undergo a quick toasting session, emerging with a golden-brown hue and a delightful char that perfectly complements the juicy burger patties.

With all elements at their peak, it’s time to assemble our Half Pound Ribeye Steak Burgers. The star of the show – an exquisite ribeye burger patty crowned with luscious cheddar cheese – is placed atop the bottom bun. To add an extra layer of zest and crunch, we lay a few slices of bread and butter pickles on the burger. Finally, the top half of the bun is placed gently on the stack, completing our Half Pound Ribeye Steak Burger masterpiece.

And there you have it, the Half Pound Ribeye Steak Burger. These are burgers that deserve to be savored immediately. With each bite, you’ll experience the marriage of coarsely ground ribeye, creamy and savory sauce, melted cheddar cheese, and zesty bread and butter pickles – a symphony of flavors that will have you returning for more.

These Half Pound Ribeye Steak Burgers are the embodiment of burger perfection. Whether enjoyed at a backyard barbecue or a cozy indoor gathering, they are a culinary triumph. These burgers elevate your dining experience by allowing the premium quality of ribeye to take center stage. Savor each bite, and let the magic of a well-crafted burger transport your taste buds to a realm of pure delight.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds 2 boneless ribeye steaks, trimmed of excess fat

  • 1 small 1 onion, minced

  • 2 large 2 eggs

  • 1 tablespoon 1 salt

  • 1 tablespoon 1 garlic powder

  • 1 tablespoon 1 paprika

  • 1 tablespoon 1 ground black pepper

  • 4 4 hamburger buns

  • 4 slices of 4 cheddar cheese

  • 1 cup 1 bread and butter pickles, sliced

  • For the Burger Sauce
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 mayonnaise

  • 2 tablespoons 2 whole grain mustard

  • 2 cloves of 2 garlic, minced

  • 1 small 1 shallot, finely chopped

  • 1 tablespoon 1 Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tablespoon 1 honey

  • to taste, salt and ground black pepper

Directions

  • Grind the Ribeye Steaks:
Cut the boneless ribeye steaks into small cubes. Using a meat grinder or food processor, grind the ribeye steak cubes into ground beef. Be sure not to over grind it. You want it to be course.
  • Prepare the Burger Sauce:
In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, whole grain mustard, minced garlic, finely chopped shallot, Worcestershire sauce, and honey until well combined. Season the sauce with salt and ground black pepper to taste. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  • Make the Ribeye Steak Burger Patties:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground ribeye steak, minced onion, egg, salt, ground black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Gently mix the ingredients until well combined, being careful not to overwork the meat. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties.
  • Grill the Ribeye Steak Burgers:
Preheat your grill to high heat (about 500°F). Place the burger patties on the hot grill grates and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust the cooking time to your desired level of doneness. During the last minute of grilling, add a slice of cheddar cheese to each patty and close the grill lid to melt the cheese.
  • Toast the Burger Buns:
While the burgers are cooking, split the hamburger buns and lightly toast them on the grill until they are golden brown and lightly charred.
  • Assemble the Ribeye Steak Burgers:
Generously spread the homemade burger sauce on the top half of each toasted bun. Place a cooked ribeye burger patty with melted cheddar cheese on top. Add a few bread and butter pickles on top of the burger patties.
  • Serve:
Place the top half of the bun on the burger, and serve immediately!
