Sunday Afternoon Sangria (Red Sangria)

Jump to Recipe

As the sun casts a warm and gentle glow, the atmosphere is imbued with a sense of calm. The day unfolds at a leisurely pace, inviting you to indulge in the luxury of slowing down. Whether in the comfort of your home or in a peaceful outdoor setting, you find yourself immersed in the serene embrace of this unhurried moment.

Wrapped in a cozy blanket or lounging in a comfortable chair, you embrace the blissful stillness that envelops you. The outside world seems to fade away as you settle into a state of tranquility. It is a time for reflection, for quiet contemplation, and for reconnecting with yourself… or for pouring yourself a glass of Sunday Afternoon Sangria.

I call it Sunday Afternoon Sangria, because you surely aren’t going to want to do anything after a glass or two. This will – positively – knock you out. So, grab a pitcher, a good bottle of Spanish red wine, some fresh fruit, and get ready to relax.

Oh, and it’s best if you make this the day before you plan to imbibe. Give the fruit some time to do its thing.
